Working in Penzance
Penzance has a lot of older housing stock — Victorian terraces, converted properties and seafront flats — which often means rubber or older PVC wiring that's due an upgrade. We carry out full and partial rewires, consumer unit replacements and EICR testing, and we always leave the property clean and the routes as unobtrusive as possible.
We also fit EV chargers for homes around Penzance, install kitchen and garden lighting, and handle emergency fault finding when something trips and won't reset. If you're a landlord or run a holiday let in the area, we can take care of periodic inspection and any remedial work that comes out of it.
Around 25 minutes from our Helston base · covering TR18, TR19 and TR20

"My experience of Grid and Glow was excellent. First and foremost, Sam is excellent. His communication is first class — a rare commodity in electricians from my experience. He swiftly responds to messages and is clear. Throughout his time in our house, Sam was courteous and respectful, taking care to ensure the house was left as he found it with no mess. The quality of his work was excellent and he kept us informed of progress throughout. I would wholeheartedly recommend Sam and his company to anyone. He will now be our go-to for future work."
